Shiv Tara Saraswati Vidya Mandir School is located at block road about 200 meters
away from Ranchi-Patna National Highway. The fundamental aim of this School is to
develop a value based education through which a socio cultural society and an accountable
generation is formed. This institution provides an education to the children in
such a way that it helps them to create a sense of deep patriotism and have a respect
to ancient culture and civilization. However, we progressively think about physical,
mental intellectual and spiritual development of the child. Saraswati Vidya Mandir
School follows the pattern of central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the
classes run from Nursery to X th. English Medium of instruction is adopted by the
School. Textbooks of Saraswati Shishu Mandir Publication and other private publication
are prescribed for primary classes (Nursery to V th). NCERT text books are chiefly
prescribed for class VIth to Xth. The Curriculum of the school is designed to give
the students an opportunity to apply their intelligence, creativity and leadership
skill to the challenges of the technology driven world. The School is associated
with the various social service oriented programs like social Forestry Program (plantation)
Free Health Camp, and Fund Collection Campaign for spreading free education in tribal
areas etc. The school believes in the fact of the celebration of Birth anniversary
of great masters of India. In accordance with the guidelines of CCE Pattern of CBSE
the school conducts six examinations (Two Summative Assessments and four formative
assessments) in every academic year.

A Journey of Achivements
During the last 30 years Shiv Tara Saraswati vidya Mandir has become a well equipped
education institution with 1000 students capacity. As well as by the continuous
effort of Sri Singh the Second branch of this institute (Kailash Ray Saraswati Vidya
Mandir ) is running successfully at Mahatma Nagar colony. Now another new building
of this school at yadutarn is under construction. Sri Suresh Prased Singh has desired
to make this institution as a Residential school and a separate Girls High School.
Contribution to the Scoiety
Sri Ram Ratan Maharshi (A well known Businessman and social worker) is the secretary
of the managing Committee of Shiv Tara Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Jhumritilaiya. He
is also the president elect of Rotary Club (Koderma) for the year 2015-16. Apart
from this he is associated with several social organisations which are dedicated
to the service of mankind in many aspects. Sri Maharshi played an important role
in the establishment of Bharat Vikas Parishad at Jhumritelaiya and known as the
founder member of this organisation. At present he is the secretary of Bharat Vikas
Parishad Jhumritelaiya. In broad range of his social service he is also the secretary
of Gaushala Samiti Jhumritelaiya. Being as the secretary of Shiv Tara Saraswati
Vidya Mandir, he is providing a multi-directional and dynamic guidelines for the
all round development of the school. Sri Maharshi's dream is to provide quality
